Transform Your
Mac Notch
Itchy is a free macOS notch app that transforms your notch into a productivity hub. Choose from 12 built-in Nook modules including Pomodoro timer, Now Playing, Calendar, Mail, Live Activities, clipboard history, storage, and notes. Customize what's visible in your notch — your workflow, your rules.
Ship your own Nook modules
Add the SDK from GitHub, write a Swift module with import itchy, compile a macOS .bundle, then import it from Itchy Settings or copy it into the modules folder manually. Users can install multiple custom plugins as either Nook modules or custom menu/content tabs.
The docs also explain what a .bundle actually is, why it may appear like a single file in Finder, and how to build one from Terminal.
Choose Your Modules
Itchy comes with a variety of optional modules. Enable only what you need and customize their order from settings.
Stay Hidden During
Presentations
Itchy stays hidden by default during screen sharing. Need it visible? Toggle it on easily. Your notch, your rules.

* Modules like Weather, Mail, and Calendar require system permissions (Location, Automation, and Full Disk Access/Calendar Access) to function correctly.
* For Media Player (Now Playing) to work with Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Arc, Edge, etc.), ensure that you have granted Accessibility permissions in System Settings and enabled "Media Session Service" if prompted.
